Gallina to Radicofani

11 miles walked, bringing the total to 141 miles. Once again, no wifi and a weak wireless signal  –> short post.

Today was a steady climb, with a few downhill sections to help ensure that we had enough climbing. Here’s the profile:

We had no rain during the walk. As we arrived, the thunder started rumbling and the rain is due in an hour or so. All good.

Tomorrow is an easier day; downhill and short. That’s okay.

Hopefully, the internet will allow me to post. Ciao.

  1. I’m exhausted just looking at the elevation! What are you doing climbing over the Swiss Alps? Have you started yodeling yet? You both impress me more every day! Love you both

  2. Hi Willow. We’re have no breath for yodeling! Actually, the high point on the Via Francigena is at the border between Switzerland and Italy (San Bernardo pass). It hits 7,000′ there! That’s one reason we started about 150 miles later 😱. Hope you’re doing okay back there
