After a two year rest and recovery, we are about to begin our third Camino; this time across France. We’ll start with a two-week intensive language course in Antibes, France before traveling by train to Le Puy, France to begin the walk. We’ve been working on our French for over two years … and recognize how poorly we speak. Hopefully, after these additional two weeks of intensive training, we can at least be understood as we say: Bonjour, Merci, and ou sont les toillettes!
I wanted to try a new feature, the ‘banner photo’, so I’ve selected a photo from our past. Hopefully, it comes through. It’s supposed to be a photo of our old sailing catamaran as we were transiting the Panama Canal in 2006. That was a wonderful time in our lives, as this will be, also!
Au Revoir, for now.

Do you have a place to watch the tour?

The tour? Yes! It is easy to find the local channels broadcasting the tour. Now, it’s all in French, but that adds to the flavor! The color commentator is Thomas Voeckler, the recently retired French cyclist. Now, he’s about 5’1″tall and weighs about 110 lbs, but as a commentator, he “appears” to be a big, rugged guy! Maybe Diane and I need that kind of TV makeover!
